    Bizkit, the sleep walking/running dog!

I thought these two videos were really cute and FUNNY! After reading some of the comments on YouTube, I'm not sure. Apparently, this type of behaviour can be exhibited from animals coming out of anesthesia, but I don't really know. I do know that animals dream and this to me, seems to show this. Smile

Could be, Brad, BUT, could also be a type of "seizure." pale

My cat, Timmy, is prone to seizures and tends to "look" like this dog when he is having a seizure. He doesn't get up and run into anything tho. Just "paddles" and shakes in place and then acts very disoriented for awhile.

Hard to say what is happening without more information. I don't think this is a "normal" thing coming out of anesthesia tho...at least not to this extent. Never saw this when working for a Vet some years ago.

I DO know that movements do happen when they seem to be "dreaming"....

It does look as if he is dreaming that he is running and then wakes up a bit surprised as we do sometimes when waking up after a very vivid dream. If it was a seizure would they stop throwing their legs around the moment they woke up?

Thanks for your comments and perspective, Gladys! Smile You're always thinking about and analyzing things, just as I do. Wink It's so hard to know what animals are thinking and/or going through, but we continue to speculate and talk about those things!
