    Hi Redial,

I don't know anything about show pigeons myself but your two fantails are beautiful birds. Very Happy Hopefully someone else with show bird experience will be able to help answer your question.

Thanks for sharing the photo. Smile Feel free to post pics of your other pets in the respective forums also. We very much enjoy photo sharing here.

    Gorgeous!

But again, I can't tell you anything pertinent. I was sure Ollie was a boy until a year ago Easter.

    Hi Redial,

I'm not a show pigeon expert either and at 5 weeks old, it's too young to tell the sexes of your babies. Going by my limited knowledge of show pigeons, I wouldn't say that these pigeons are show quality. Also, their plumage will change somewhat too in a few months when the moult into their adult feathering. The all white pigeon might have potential, but again, I'm not totally sure.

Here are a few links I found for you:

    http://www.petcaregt.com/pigeons/Fantail-Pigeon-Care.html
    http://www.easternfantailclub.com/efc%20webpage%203.htm
    http://www.indianfantailclub.org/standard.htm

Even if they don't turn out to be show quality birds, I'm sure they will make excellent pets that you will love. Smile Are you just raising pigeons to enter into shows?

Hi Redail, Welcome! I am also a fantail fan! Are your birds American or Indian fantails?

if memory serves me correctly, indian fantails have caps and boots. Now the body shape says indian. I wonder if they are a cross between american and indian. All that matters is if you like them.
