Not sure if you guys saw this or it was posted. It's rather interesting! I feel bad for the couple but I can't think what would drive this bird to act this way.

Cute story and funny pics!
It sounds as if the couple are quite bothered by the pheasant at times during these attacks, but they are kind and wouldn't harm the bird. He said that he feels it's hormones of the male and a territorial thing, seems reasonable enough to me.
