Hi Everyone,

My avatar is my cat Penny.....isn't she beautiful?

She lived in a abusive situation the first 7 yrs of her life....then she came to us and now she is treated like the absolute treasure that she is.

She has had to undergo bladder surgery, suffers seizures and needs to eat prescirption food due to her past abuse, but she is doing well, so far and is absolutely worth every extra penny that is needed to be spent to keep her healthy. She has a forever home for the rest of her life where she is treated like the "queen" that she is! LOL

We love her so much that it hurts!!!

Hi Lin,

Penny is a very beautiful cat indeed, and obviously very well loved. She's got the best life now and all those first years of torment and abuse are long behind her. You should take some more pictures of her and send them to me and I'll crop them and you can have others to use for avatars.

Every time your avatar pops up, I am in awe of how beautiful and contented Penny looks. Like all of us here, I really can't get my head round the mentality of cruel people who abuse animals . Thank goodness Penny is now living the good life she deserves with yourself. Any amount of abuse is unthinkable but 7 years!!! Poor cat! At least she can live out the rest of her life happy, well cared for and very loved.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing much more about her on the forum.

Hi Lin, Your Penny is so beautiful! I am soooo glad she has a forever home. Cruelty to animals is just beyond me. I just don't' see how anyone can live with themselves doing such things to animals. thank you so much for sharing your story with us. Forever homes are the best!

Hi lin, she is a very nice cat, she looks so content looking, I have a cat myself her name is kitty, i have to keep an eye on her when i have the pijjies out, she has that look and licking her lips, but i know it's their instinct, will post her pic later,
