my bird started to lose weight and i took it out the loft and into isolation, after the night in i thought she has lost to much weight time to goito vets, i asked if it was canker vet looked and tested and said no signs, i then asked what could it be can i get something to try cure it , they gave me amoxycillin and multi vits, i measured it right fed it and did the rest in the loft.
the one that was in isloation died this morning or over night but now i notice one or two are doin what the other one started to slapping me and biting the odd time only differece is they are all eating, the one that died stopped eating, has upset me and started to make me want to give up even though that probably wont happen unless i lose the lot, but through out this lot i have 2 fantail doves and they are like warriors and strive on but in the past several weeks before i had a showpen racer and it died the same only thqat one hacd a sticky eye.
i dont know whats been in the shed before i got it im thinking now i might of seen a feather when cleaning it out and the area outside was messy but clened it and moved the shed away,.
i was told its possible something they`ve eating off a roof i think the only thing is to have a post mortem done on the one that has just died and then if its something thats been missed it will be sorted if the others dont go in the time frame,
is there anything i should look out for in the mean time i thought id dont all could but was not to be but like said they are all eating the one that died stopped but did swollow seads and digest for first 2 days the young birds are janssen sprint racers thx any help welcomed
