Garlic:
Can be used in the water or on the food. I personally wouldn't recommend using the garlic cloves in the water, but it can be done as long as it's made and drank fresh. I use garlic powder + light olive oil on the food, just enough to cover the seed. Use a couple times a week.

Apple Cider Vinegar:
Can be used in the water, up to 3 times a week. 1 tablespoon per gallon. The natural, un-pasteurized ACV is more beneficial to your birds than other kinds.

Can be given in the water every so often. Good source of long lasting energy, calms the birds, and helps them recover quickly from stress. Other benefits can be found in these links, which apply to us and many of our pets.

Good source of B-complex vitamins. I put some on my feed with a little oil so it sticks to the seed.
